Description
Positioned within the exclusive and peaceful gated community of El Capitan in Benahavís, this exceptional private estate, recently renovated in 2026, presents a refined combination of scale, privacy, security and lifestyle appeal. Set across a double plot of more than 3,698 m², the property offers 928,53m² of built space, including over 200 m² of terraces, with open panoramic views towards Gibraltar, the Mediterranean Sea and La Concha mountain.
El Capitan is an intimate residential community comprising just 27 properties, offering a private and established environment with controlled access and night-time security from 19:30 to 07:30. The elevated setting provides a strong sense of tranquillity and exclusivity while remaining conveniently positioned within easy reach of Marbella, Puerto Banús, San Pedro and the Costa del Sol.
The residence has been thoughtfully designed to combine generous proportions with contemporary comfort and a strong sense of warmth. The entrance level forms the social heart of the home, with an impressive open-plan living area centred around an elegant fireplace, flowing naturally into a dedicated dining area and a sophisticated designer kitchen.
A particular highlight is the kitchen's own working fireplace, adding an exceptional sense of character and intimacy to an otherwise contemporary space. It creates a welcoming setting for relaxed family meals and entertaining, particularly during the cooler months, while the generous proportions and seamless connection between the living, dining and kitchen areas provide an effortless flow throughout the main living level. This entrance level also offers two large en-suite bedrooms and a guest toilet, making it exceptionally practical for family living as well as accommodating guests in comfort and privacy.
The accommodation is arranged across three levels, providing an exceptional degree of privacy for both residents and guests. The lower level includes three en-suite bedrooms, including a maid's room and a kitchenette, a dedicated laundry room and a private gym. This level has its own entrance, making it easy to adapt the space for use as accommodation for staff or personnel if desired.
The top level offers an additional lounge area together with two further en-suite guest bedrooms. The spacious master suite enjoys open sea views and incorporates a generous walk-in wardrobe with mountain views, as well as a substantial bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, two separate showers and two private WCs.
The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, creating a private Mediterranean retreat within the extensive grounds. A private swimming pool and paddle tennis court provide excellent facilities for relaxation, recreation and entertaining, while the large terraces offer multiple possibilities for outdoor dining and lounging against the backdrop of open views towards the Mediterranean Sea and La Concha mountain.
The property also benefits from its own water reserve and solar panel installation, adding an important element of efficiency and self-sufficiency. A substantial garage provides generous protected parking, while the large private driveway offers ample space for additional vehicles and guests.
From our point of view, this residence stands out for its exceptional scale, privacy and combination of sophisticated living with resort-style amenities. The double plot, extensive built area and open sea outlook create a rare sense of space and openness, while the recently completed renovation allows the new owner to enjoy the property without the need for major works.
The working fireplace within the designer kitchen, together with the principal living-room fireplace, adds an unusual layer of warmth and character to the contemporary interiors, creating spaces that feel equally suited to elegant entertaining and relaxed family living.
Within a gated community of only 27 residences, the combination of privacy, security, a private pool, a paddle tennis court, extensive parking, solar energy and generous accommodation gives this estate a distinctive position within the Benahavís market. It represents an exceptional opportunity for discerning buyers seeking a substantial private residence with the space and facilities of a luxury retreat, complemented by open Mediterranean sea and mountain views and the prestigious lifestyle of Benahavís.
